It started with the words, "Let's go fishing!"

We bought a 59 Feathercraft and a 59 Sea King 5. Then we bought a 51 Wizard 5. Then we bought a 57 Evinrude Fastwin 18. It was about that time we became aware of a guy in Louisiana named Mike, or T-Mike. He had an amazing amount of videos on YouTube detailing how to restore vintage Evinrudes and Johnsons. What started out as my husband's hobby became my business. One day while I was looking on Facebook Marketplace, I bought myself a motor to restore. Now, I've always been a tinkerer, mostly with cars. Before long, between T-Mike's videos and my husband's help,  I learned how to restore motors. We've always said there's a future in the past, and these motors, in their 60's and 70's, want to run. Their elegant design makes them incredibly reliable, and they come from a time things were much better made. Now, John and Marsha's restores motors for customers, restores motors for sale, manufactures obsolete parts so you get a good, fresh part, not an old one that's collected dust on a shelf for years. We also offer consignment sales to give your motor a good place to find a new home. Come see what John and Marsha's Classics can do for you!
